Okay, so maybe none of that happened, but the indie blogger community on both hemispheres has been buzzing about the beginning stages of the band´s follow-up to In Rainbows since bassist Colin Greenwood told the BBC the album was in recording stages. In the interview, Greenwood called the recording sessions with British producer Nigel Godrich "very noisy and chaotic and really fun." Let´s hope the new material is too.

While you were watching Osasuna hold on to La Primera for dear life -- everyone in Pamplona -- the entire continent was glued to their TVs waiting for the final results of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. Norwegian violinist Alexander Rybak not only won with his moving, folk-inspired track "Fairytale," but he won with an astounding 387 points, the largest margin of victory in the history of the competition and shattering the record set by Finnish metal band Lordi in 2006.
